- Dragged 200 pounds of sand away from her front door and into her garage. (She was worried that the rain from Sandy would come up to her front door, because it nearly did in a storm about two weeks ago.)
- Went to the audiologist and discovered that she still has quite good hearing, and no idea why she can no longer hear deep, male voices in TV shows when there is a lot of background noise (although she is beginning to suspect she needs a better sound system or to sit closer to the TV).
- Appeared on the radio show of an old blogging buddy to discuss politics and the book.
- Wrote about herself in the third person.
Oh, this? This is the tree that fell behind my condo during the hurricane. Either I slept through it, or when I woke up, didn’t realize I’d woken up because of the loud crunching noise. Last year, the tree next to this one fell during the day, and landed on it. Which is why this one was weak enough to fall.
All this, and work, too. Yes, it was a busy day.
